Big health, big attack and recklessness just kinda made sense for a double edge regen pig. Takedown can be taken out and played with real ease. The reason I put it first though was it adds a non fire attack and makes the pokemon less of a one trick pony. However one trick ponying it might be the best way to do it, you add the Bulk up and he's getting a whole lot less hurt and gradually hitting harder, so that one jumps to mind for a later game benefit. But if you want it to solely sweep Takedown is and option, Wild Bolt (tm) and Head Smash (lvl 50) go along with the theme and add a little variety. But at the end of the day I think just pumping up the piggy with Bulk Up and Flare Blitzing on everything's face till you need a nap, them Sleep Talking upside the foes head you'll end up coming out harder and ready for more beat downs till the next nap.
The Left Overs negate some of the recoil damage, but I'd really rather give the piggy a Flame Orb, but I don't think the burn status heals it's porky pal. On second though the left overs have a certain irony that really adds to the theme. As for the effort values probably half into HP and the other two quarters in D and SD. Though maybe more in the SD if you go with Bulk Up, your gonna be habitually raising it anyway.
As a side note I met a cute barista tonight. Turns out "Lesbians stole my baby" not only makes people crack up laughing but is a good opening line. Who knew. Curious for round two.
